Help your baby find relief by rubbing your hands, which must be thoroughly washed clean, on his sore gums. Rub in circular motions.
2. Cold Washcloth Therapy
Your baby’s gums are very sore right now such that even the softest touch can irritate him. To help soothe the gum, take a clean soft cloth submerged in water, squeeze out the water, and place the cloth in the fridge. Leave it for a few minutes to cool. Then, fold it till it is small enough to fit into your child’s mouth. Let your baby chew on it but stay close so he doesn’t swallow it.
